The World Wide Wander is an international coalition of the creative and curious.
In the spirit of our mantra this season: Slow Down, we’ve partnered with them with a t-shirt and offers for their upcoming day of walking workshops (or Walkshops) across the globe.
In times like these, with uncertainty and apathy abound, we’re all wondering how to do things differently. What if the inspiration we need is all around us, all the time? That's where the World Wide Wander comes in - An event created by international non-profit Street Wisdom, supported by Creative Mornings, it’s a creative walking practice that helps you navigate the thoughts and questions on your mind.
Sound interesting? You can join them this Friday 27th September 2024, in-person or online. Walkshops will be happening in over 50 cities all over the world, including London. In fact, one such Walkshop will be starting outside our very own Eastcastle Street Store (just off Oxford Street). Take an hour out of your day to turn ordinary streets into extraordinary experiences where you can exercise your imagination and find inspiration.
If you participate, you can submit to their Moments of Insight award, where and 3 winners will each receive £250 cash and £250 vouchers to spend with us at Folk. Just send in an image from a moment that resonated with you as you wandered. Walk the walk and we just might dress you for it.
