Following last seasons street wisdom on Bloomsbury with Des Hamilton, comes our night time Soho journey with Robert Green. The respected type designer talks us through the changing face of Soho from his first introduction as a youngster in search of comics.

He puts our Folk store on Great Windmill Street in greater context of a London neighbourhood that has single handedly changed the face of popular culture over the last 70 years.

No stranger to discovery and exploration, Robert spent 5 years researching the remarkable Doves Press story, culminating with him hiring divers to search the Thames riverbed to recover the Press’s famous metal type, which lay hidden for nearly 100 years after being thrown off a bridge following a feud over ownership.
